Aleksey graduated from the Orenburg State University in 2000. His degree is “Software engineering for computers and computer-based systems”. Aleksey devoted 10 years to the development of software for well logging, including in one of the leading production companies of Russia. Since 2013, he became the Head of Electronic Devices Engineering Department and then the Chief Designer of Ufa factory Promsvyaz (part of the group of companies of PAO Rostelecom).

He knows several programming languages including Python. In Teics, Aleksey is in charge of optimizing the computations of Teics One robotized software, and participates in introducing machine learning algorithms. The main hobby: Production of stereo images.

Bostonov

Software engineer sql, C++

Oskar is a Teics expert working with data bases for field development history. More than 10-year experience in an IT division of a leading Russian oil extracting company, participation in large-scale projects of the company for the development of its own software and applications enabled to organize the collection, storage and processing of large arrays of information in Teics One.

Oskar knows several programming languages and plays a crucial role in work with Teics data bases. In 2005, he graduated from Ufa State Aviation Technical University, the department “Information Science and Robotics”. Interested in football and music.

Lebedev

Software engineer Python, C++

Anton has been working in Teics from its foundation. During some time the number of his tasks was growing exponentially, but now his main duty is to improve Teics One, provide technical support, further develop the web-version of the robotic software complex, solve local tasks inside the software within pilot projects.

Before Teics, Anton had been working as a developer in a large world IT-company for several years, he knows several programming languages, including Python. In 2012, he graduated Udmurt State University majoring in “Applied Information Science”. The main hobby is travelling.

Mikhail
Fokin

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Mikhail is a geologist and field developer. From the very beginning, he laid the foundation of the Teics One robotic software complex both using conventional methods and algorithms to optimize a field development process, and implementing his innovative ideas. Now Mikhail is conducting many experiments in the search of fine combinations of Big Data technologies with more wide-spread models based on the material balance equation, filtration law and Backley-Leverett theory. Before creating Teics, Mikhail had worked in a small oil extracting company as a geologist and a lead geologist. In 2014 he became the Chief Geologist in an extracting company.

While still being a student, he studied problems of well premature flooding in detail. In 2011, he did a wide research on “Increasing productivity of well operation due to introduction of flow deviation technologies”, where he developed methods of selecting candidate wells and calculating volumes and concentrations of injected chemicals. In 2011, he graduated from the Udmurt State University majoring in “Oil and Gas Field Development and Operation”. In 2014, he graduated from the Russian Presidental Academy of National Economy and Public Administration majoring in “Financial Management”.

Imaev

Chief Marketing Officer

Timur is a physicist, mathematician and marketing expert. Before joining Teics, he had worked as an analyst, department head, commercial director in OAO Ufa factory Promsvyaz (part of the group of companies of PAO Rostelecom). In 2008, he graduated from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas majoring in “Physical processes of oil and gas production”. He won a physics competition among the university students. In 2010 he obtained a combined Master’s Degree in the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and OOO Gazprom VNIIGAZ majoring in “Underground storage of gases and liquids”.

In 2012-2014, using 260 thousand results, he created a mathematical model of forecasting sports events applying the ELO rating and Poisson probability distribution systems. In Teics, Timur is in charge of numerous general issues, acts as an analyst, writes articles, coordinates marketing issues of the company. The main hobbies: chess (Master of Sports), swimming.

Barkov

Chief Support Officer

He has been working in Teics from its foundation. Before that Mikhail had been working as a programming engineer in OAO Izhevsk Morot Plant “Axion-holding”. In 2010 he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Izhevsk State Technical University. In 2012 he obtained a Master’s Degree in “Software engineering for computers and computer-based systems”.

Now Mikhail is Head of Programming Department and coordinates all issues related to the development of Teics One robotic software and pilot projects of the company. Besides, Mikhail himself is in charge of technical support and improvement of the Teics web site. The main hobby: football.

Vladislav
Mamaev

Senior production engineer

In the company since 2017. Before Teics, Vladislav had been working in a big extracting company for 5 years. His duties included the following: select equipment for wells, control the operation of electrical submersible pumps, electrical progressive cavity pumps and sucker rod pumps, analyze the efficiency of down-the-hole chemical treatment. In parallel, Vladislav took further education courses and participated in professional competitions. He received an award as “The Best Process Engineer”.

From 2012 up to 2015, he won top places in various scientific technical conferences for young professionals. In Teics, Vladislav is actively engaged in the work on pilot projects and is in charge of selecting equipment for wells using machine learning algorithms. In 2012, he graduated from the Udmurt State University majoring in “Oil and Gas Field Development and Operation”.

Regina
Mustafina

Legal adviser

Regina worked as a legal expert since 2009. Last 3 years in the large-scale regional companies. She had graduated from Bashkir State University at 2012. Specialty «Jurisprudence».

Regina provides Teics with legal services since 2014.

Aim

The goal of Teics is to increase oil production in brown fields through quality work with historical input data and to make the best decisions to manage their development. Teics proposes to increase daily oil extraction by tens of percent and to reduce costs of ineffective and poorly performing activities for wells, without capital expenses and without significant modifications of the budget for development management.

Position

Teics robotizes oil field development eliminating a huge role of routine manual labour, creates necessary tools to process Big Data and uses machine learning models when solving key tasks. We were the first to learn how to obtain extremely high practical results in oil production using Big Data technologies, and we are open for cooperation with any companies extracting oil in brown fields.

Humans

Teics is a young company with “grown-up” professionals who are educated and goal-oriented people. In the Teics team, the concept of “conscience” has a crucial importance. We are not interested in “increased motivation” and we don’t seek to control anybody’s work. Teics is based on a strong foundation of traditional technical education, the most up-to-date mathematical instruments and marketing intuition gained over the years.

Status

Founded in 2014, Teics created the first version of robotic software in summer of 2015. In winter of 2015-2016, the company found the first supporters of innovative approaches to field development among large extracting companies in Russia, and gave a start to several pilot projects. In 2016, Teics received the status of a Skolkovo resident in the field “Strategic computer technologies and software”. Skolkovo innovative center is the largest technological cluster in Russia and Eastern Europe. The status of a resident was granted to our robotic laboratory after the approval of an international expert commission estimating the basis of Teics activities. Five out of five experts voted for the inclusion of Teics into the list of Skolkovo participants. In autumn of 2016, the company participated in various international competitions.
