Nest Lab started new trials of Nest (Big Data software for oilfield development) with «LUKOIL – West Siberia». There is the third development stage with total stock about 300 wells.

“The chosen oilfields are very interesting for trialing. There are many typical problems for West Siberia. That means we get an opportunity to correct algorithms of Nest. So, we can make our software more special for West Siberia problems”, – says Mikhail Fokin, CEO.

Nest Lab Team will collect data this summer and get the results in winter after finishing well interventions recommended by Nest.

Mikhail adds: “We are satisfied with three different trials in two oilfield companies in 2016. It shows us that big companies are open for innovations and Big Data solution is an essential challenge for them”.
